Head of the Department of Propaganda and Training of the HCMC Party Committee, Than Thi Thu yesterday visited press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Ms Thu visited and congratulated staffs, officials, reporters and the editorial board of Van Nghe, Phap Luat, Giac Ngo, Nguoi Lao Dong Newspapers.
On the same day, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan led the city leaders' delegation visited HCMC Television, Radio& Voice of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, and National Catholic Newspaper.
At the meeting, city leaders appreciated the important roles and outstanding contributions of reporter generations in struggling against wrong theoretically and incorrect from the point of view, building and developing the Party and Government in the previous times.
In the recent years, the reporter generations have always tried the best in completing their tasks in difficult circumstances.
Until now, press agencies have completed excellently its mission; especially, they popularized well sovereignty protection over Vietnam’s Sea Islands.
City leaders hoped that press agencies will continue to promoting further in popularizing, orienting true information sources in the upcoming times.
