A program entitled Vinh Quang Vietnam which took place in Hanoi yesterday to mark the 70th anniversary of Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945- 2015), National Day (September 2) and the 70th anniversary of August Revolution (August 19).

The program was organized by the People's Police (Nhan Dan) Newspaper, Greater Solidarity (Dai Doan Ket) Newspaper,Viet Nam Historical Science Association, Vietnam Television and Asia Friendship Company, aiming to praise outstanding individuals, groups with their love to the country.
State President Truong Tan Sang, former General Secretary Le Kha Phieu and General Tran Dai Quang, Minister of Public Security attended the event. Its target is the self-flattering spirit of national love and the highlight of promoting a stronger labor movement for the country’s building and development.
Over past 10 years, the program has become one of usual events, attracting the interest of many audiences at home and abroad.
This year, the organization board praised 10 individuals and teams who live in Vietnam’s sea islands and have tried their best to build and develop locals such as Ca Mau’s Ngoc Hien district, Quang Ninh’s Mong Cai city, Da Nang’s Paracel Island, Khanh Hoa’s Spratly Island.
Speaking at the program, General Tran Dai Quang stressed: “Vietnam went up and down wheels of over past 70 years history of its revolution but the self-flattering spirit of national love and tradition for building and protecting the country of Vietnamese people continues to deepen more and more.”
State President Truong Tan Sang and former General Secretary Le Kha Phieu were on behalf of Party and States to grant national golden coat of arms symbol to five places such as Ngoc Hien district (Ca Mau), Mong Cai city (Quang Ninh), Paracel Island (Da Nang), Spratly Island (Khanh Hoa) and Hanoi city.
On the occasion, the organization board offered 70 national symbols of coat of arms and 70 symbols of Saint Giong- Phu Dong Thien Vuong Saint for outstanding individuals and groups.
In the related news, Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People’s Committee and Fatherland Front Committee celebrated the 70th anniversary of Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945- 2015) and the 10th anniversary of the People Safeguard National Security Festival (August 19, 2005) in HCMC Opera House yesterday.
