Chinese-owned thermal power plant fined for illegal construction

Chinese-owned thermal power plant was imposed an administrative fine of VND50 million ($2,155) for illegally building, said the Department of Construction in the central province of Binh Thuan yesterday.

The thermal power plant had started the construction in the areas for experts and laborers without permission.
Beforehand, the plant investor had started another work on the area of 3 hectare in Tien Hung village in Tuy Phong District. Local administration detected and asked a stop at a working meeting with the investor til it received permission.
