American military transport aircraft lands in Hanoi

The Boeing Globemaster C-17 military aircraft carrying large equipment and supplies needed for President Donald Trump’s visit arrived in Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 1 p.m. this afternoon.

U.S. President Donald Trump will travel to Vietnam ahead of a planned summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
The 2019 North Korea–United States Summit will take place in Hanoi on February 27-28. This will be the second meeting between US and North Korean leaders.
The large military transport aircraft can carry more than 80 tons of troops, cargo, and vehicles including the Marine One VH-60N White Hawk Helicopter.
The cargo aircraft few days ago transported medical facilities and military supplies to serve the upcoming visit of President Donald Trump.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, military aircrafts of the United States will not be required to get the aviation security check.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam also approved a petition from the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi to ask an exemption for passenger and cargo screening requirements and airport taxes for aircrafts served the presidential visit.
