Vietnam Post &Telecom Group (VNPT) announced that the Internet connection speed in Vietnam that links internationally will be slow during the week of February 25 to March 3 due to Asia America Gateway’s (AAG) repair.
Mr Nguyen Hong Hai, Vice Director of Vietnam Database Communication Company said Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group is planning to help maintain connectivity during the repair.
AAG is a 20,000-kilometer underwater communications cable system connecting Southeast Asia with the United States through the Pacific via Guam and Hawaii. The company is also connected to Australia, India, Europe and Africa with the system.
