Secretary of Quang Binh Party Committee Hoang Dang Quang affirmed the province has been striving and making all efforts to help fishermen settle their lives after the mass fish deaths occurred in the province.
Earlier, the provincial leaders visited Nhan Trach, Duc Trach communes in Bo Trach district and Quang Phuc in Ba Don district and asked local authorities to aid effected fishermen timely.
Mr. Le Van Loi, Head of the Aquatic Resource Exploitation & Protection sub Division in Quang Binh said to date 423 tons of safe fish have been sold, helping offshore fishermen overcome difficulties and feel secure about catching fish.
