13 Vietnamese candidates join World Skills Competition 2017

The Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs held a launching ceremony in Hanoi yesterday to send the Vietnamese delegation to the 44th World Skill Competition in the United Arab Emirates. 

As plan, 13 Vietnamese candidates will attend in the competition from October 8-20. 

According to Deputy General Director of the General Department of Vocational Training under the Ministry of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs Mr. Cao Van Sam, this is the fifth time that Vietnam has participated in the World Skill Competition.

The competition will help the candidates approach to the fourth Industrial Revolution, to experience the most modern machines and equipment, information technology application. 

The 44th World Skill Competition attracted around 1,258 candidates from 58 countries and territories worldwide.

At the 43th World Skill Competition, Vietnam won one bronze medal and eight excellent skill certifications
