124 traffic accidents reported during first three days of 2016

The National Traffic Safety Committee said during the first three days of 2016, the country had 124 traffic accidents, 65 fatalities, 94 injuries.

On January 3 alone, there were 49 traffic accidents, 23 fatalities and 12 injuries, an increase of 12 cases compared to last year.

Accidents in roads had 46 cases killing 20 and wounding 41; in railway with 2 cases killing 2; waterways of 1 case killing 1.

Traffic polices nationwide treated 24,953 traffic violations, collected VND 12.777 billion in fines,106 cars and 3,373 motobikes; revoked 1,905 driving licenses
