Quang Tri border guards bust trans-national drug trafficking ring

The border guard force of the central province of Quang Tri has broken a trans-national drug trafficking ring, seizing two Lao suspects, 118,000 meth pills and one gun.

Kham La, 32, and Bi Vieng (22), both residing in Khamsida village, Champhon district, Savannakhet province of Laos, were arrested at 12:00pm on March 8 at Phosi village, Phanlansay district of Savannakhet province.
According to the Quang Tri Border Guard Command, as surrounded by the border guards and security authorities of Savannakhet, the duo used their car to escape and fiercely resisted with the gun before being arrested.
The Quang Tri border guard force has handed over the suspects and the exhibits to Savannakhet security agency for further investigation.
