At the end of August 7, police in the north-central province of Quang Tri announced they arrested a 24-year-old man suspected of killing two people and ịnụred another in Huong Hoa District earlier the same day.
On the day, neighbors of Ho Thi Ty heard the shouting from the house, they soon came and found Ms. Ty and her father-in-law were both dead. The servant of the house suffered serious injuries. Witnesses said that they saw a strange man who is about twenties walking into the house.
Police considered it was a robbery as the safe in the house was destroyed. Ms. Ty's family is one of richest businesses in Khe Sanh Town.
In the general hospital of Huong hoa District, injured servant said that while she had been walking into the house after working in the outside she had been attacked. The murderer was a masked man who chased her to continue stabbing her yet she ran into the bathing room in time and locked it. She shouted to call for help from neighbors.
At 6pm on the day, police received news from the general hospital in the district about a suspected man coming to the hospital for treating his injured hand. Police detained the man who was verified Ho Chi Bao, 24 years old and a girl who escorted him to the hospital.
