Market management, police seize 274 tons of unclear origins chemicals

Market management board in Ho Chi Minh City said on October 16 that it seized 274 tons of imported chemicals without clear indication of origin in a warehouse in Thu Duc District.

Earlier on October 5, the market management inspection team and police in Thu Duc District raided the warehouse Linh Xuan of the Chemical and Scientific Technology Joint Stock Company of HCMC.

At the time, the warehouse has 249,553 tons of imported chemicals which violate the regulation of branding a934 bags of Chinese-made chemicals (weighing 23.45 tons) out of date since 2012 but the company has not destroyed.

Elsewhere in the southern province of Dong Nai, the Market Management Inspection team paid unscheduled visit to a house in Xuan Anh Commune in Long Khanh Town which produce brewer and feed for bees.

Market managers discovered many nutrition supplements and veterinary medicine for bees without  brand.

House owner said that he bought chemical named Thamine Hydrochloride and Nutriad imported from foreign countries to produce feed for bees without origins and receipts. Then he packed the brand and release into market.
