Man causes traffic accidents with stole Range Rover

A Hanoian man was caught after he caused traffic accidents with a Range Rover which he stole.

According to police in Hanoi’s Dong Da District, at 11 PM on April 28, a local in Royal Ciy residential block stopped by a store to buy tobacco while he left the engine still running and open door. Taking advantage of this, a man sneaked into the Ranger Rover and ran away.

Chased after by the car owner and many locals, the thief drove the car fast through many streets hitting five motorbikes in Hoang Quoc Viet Street. Many people got injured including two with serious injuries.

After causing accidents, the thief left the car in the street to run away yet he was arrested by locals there and then he was escorted to police station.

At the police station, the thief said his name is Nguyen Duy Llinh, 33, from the northern province of Yen Bai. Linh is an exchange broker. When seeing the car owner left the car with the engine still running, he stole to sell it.

Police officers are furthering the case.
