Couple arrested for making, selling fake medicines

Ho Chi Minh City Police Division of economic crimes and management positions investigation (PC46) issued an urgent arrest-warrant for a couple in the city who was charged selling false homemade medicine.

Police searched the house of  Tran Dang Truong, 35, and his wife, Nguyen Thi Diem Huyen, 33, Director of Ngan Son Thinh Company in District 12 at 3 a.m. on March 12.

The police caught Truong taking the medicine from his car to a pharmacy in To Hien Thanh Street in District 10. Police found two containers of nutritional supplements and various unapproved medicines.

Police also discovered an additional 38 containers of medicines and machines to produce the drugs at the company.
