Chinese men fined for illegally buying agricultural products

Chairman of People’s Committee in the central province of Binh Thuan October 4 decided to fine two Chinese men for illegally purchasing agricultural products in the province.

Chairman of People’s Committee in the central province of Binh Thuan October 4 decided to fine two Chinese men for illegally purchasing agricultural products in the province.

Each Chinese was fined VND20 million (US$ 896.6). Through checking, related agencies discovered the two Chinese traders Shi Kai Cheng, born in 1986, and Ling Jia Yu, born in 1976, to violate the regulation when they involved in selling and buying agricultural products without Vietnamese government’s permission.

The two Chinese traders arrived in Binh Thuan province to buy dragon fruits illicitly.

Since the beginning of 2016 the administration in Binh Thuan province has issued fine decisions to 20 Chinese traders who were not permitted to sell and buy products in the province. Total fine is worth VND500 million.
