Philippine President gains high support rating

Eighty-two percent of 1,200 respondents across the Philippines has approved of President Rodrigo Duterte’s one-year performance, according to a Pulse Asia survey released on July 17.

In the regional scale, the President’s rating scored 80 percent and 95 percent in Metro Manila and Mindanao, respectively, while the figure for Luzon island was 75 percent.

The survey was conducted via face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults aging 18 years old and above from June 24 to 29. 

It also showed majority approval scores for Vice President Maria Leonor Robredo and Senate President Aquilino Pimentel, at 61 percent and 62 percent, respectively, source from Vietnamplus
