At the meeting with the provincial leaders, Ms.Thu said the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee called on the city’s state officials, public servants, people to join hands to support flood-hit people in the central and central highlands provinces, aiming to help them overcome flood consequences.
In Phu Yen province, Ms.Thu handed over VND 3billion to local people.
The delegation visited people at Hoa Xuan Nam commune, Dong Hoa district and presented 50 gift packages to 50 the most effected families, worth VND 1 million per one.
Five families who their houses were collapsed completely after the 12th typhoon hit the province received VND 2million per one to repair house.
The delegation handed over also VND 5million to Do Nhu Day Primary School at Hoa Xuan Dong Commune.
