Thu Duc District focusing on site clearance for major projects

Premise clearance is one of the priorities carried out in the second quarter of 2018 by the Party Committee of Thu Duc District in Ho Chi Minh City. This activity is also in the pilot plan to effectively implement the special mechanisms for the development of the city.

Accordingly, the Party Committee of Thu Duc District is going to focus on providing favorable conditions for commercial and manufacturing activities.

It is going to concentrate on site clearance for many key projects of the district such as the construction of Ring Road No.2 from Go Dua Intersection to Pham Van Dong Street, the construction of National Way No.13 and the corresponding drainage system, or the construction of the embankment to safeguard Sai Gon River from erosion.

Since the beginning of 2018, certain social and economic problems have risen in the district like the serious noise pollution due to commercial or peddling activities, yet there is no optimal solution to address the issue.

Also, the task of security control is not as operative as expected. The main reason is that the extensive area is quite hard to monitor, while the state officers have not tried their best in fulfilling their responsibilities.

The District Party Committee, therefore, affirmed that it would direct the People’s Committee of the district to begin tightening discipline through an increase of inspections of officers at work.

Meanwhile, leaders of the district have to actively handle urgent matters raised by the public and implement suitable solutions to limit the tardiness in processing administrative documents for citizens.
