Thousands of people join Lunar New Year's full moon day

Around 1,000 people in Ho Chi Minh City flocked to district 5 in order to take part in the parade of Nguyen Tieu Festival (the full moon of the first lunar month of the year) yesterday evening.

At the event, crowded citizens enjoyed Chinese lion and dragon dances across roads. 

The Nguyen Tieu Festival is also called the full moon day of the first lunar month of the year and a traditional festival of the Chinese community in Ho Chi Minh City which celebrated on the 15th day of the first lunar month to pray for world peace, family happiness and business success…
