As per the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee direction on action month for children 2016 which lasts from June 1 to 30 themed” preventing accidents in summer vacation For kids’ safety”, the Department of Education and Training ordered all schools in the city to provide information of accident prevention for kids.
Schools must increase information of drowning and traffic accidents through encouraging parents and students to use life-jackets when travelling in river and wear helmet when driving in street.
Additionally, schools should organize competitions focusing on accident prevention for students as well as skills in travelling in streets and first aids for victims. Moreover, schools should hold entertainment activities for students in summer vacation.
