Deputy Chairman of Mitsubishi Mr.Ken Kawai said the group is working on its strategy to expand investment in Vietnam and through the meeting with HCMC leader, he hoped to join hands with the city in solving three issues: infrastructure in airport areas, industrial parks and urban areas.

Mr. Ken Kawai shared also that Mitsubishi is running 314 waste treatment plants in Singapore, China, Korea and Japan therefore Mitsubishi believed that it can join investment in waste treatment plant in HCMC through the PPP method. Besides, it would support the city in collecting waste, then recycling and turning it into electricity as expectation.

Mr. Liem affirmed Mitsubishi’s model in waste treatment is completely suitable for the city’s plan on calling for investment in waste treatment adding that the city will assign department of natural resources and environment to connect with Mitsubishi’s experts and support the group to quickly implement it plan to invest in the city’s project in accordance with the criteria.
