According to the initial information, locals around the park’s premises discovered the blaze started at some 3am at Phuoc Sinh Company at C12/1 Street 2F; many people tried to escape while others tried to put out the blaze yet their efforts were unrewarded.

Informed the blaze, the local firefighting departments in 11, 12, Binh Tan, Tan Phu, Binh Chanh and the rescue center sent out as many as 21 fire engines and 122 fire fighters to the scene to control the blaze.
However, the company’s warehouse contained inflammable materials, firefighters were facing difficulties in distinguishing the blaze. This one would spawn a horrific ten-meter furnace of smoke.
Firefighters divided into many groups to battle for 3 hours to contain a fire at the park which sent thick smoke billowing over the premises.

At 6 am on the morning, the blaze was basically under the control not spread to other warehouses and neighboring houses.

The blaze cause is under investigation.
