High tide floodwaters reached upto 1.60-1.65 meters, inundating many roads in Ho Chi Minh City on December 2.

Water levels hit 1.60-1.65 meters in Phu An Station in Nha Be District, and according to weather forecast, high tide will prevail until December 8.

High tide floodwaters inundated many roads in District 2, 6, 8 and some other districts in the last few days, causing great inconvenience to local residents.

The Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control in HCMC has alerted local authorities to prepare measures to cope with the situation.
