At the meeting, the ICAP President expressed his joy about the construction works marking the of the 45th anniversary of Fidel Castro’s historic visit to the southern liberation zone of Vietnam in Quang Tri (September 1973-2018) which have been implemented in the central coastal province.
“For Vietnam, Cuba is ready to devote even its blood”, he said, repeating a famous quote by President Fidel Castro.
For his part, Mr. Tat Thanh Cang highlighted Cuba's great achievements in various fields. He affirmed that HCMC always strengthens the relationship between the two sides.
On the same day, the Cuban delegation paid a visit to Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations and Vietnam – Cuba Friendship Association.
