Accordingly, the spring flower festival is scheduled to open at Tao Dan Park within 12 days, falling on February 10- 21, 2018 (from lunar December 25 to lunar January 6).
Many activities will take place at the 12 day- spring flower festival such as exhibitions of fishkeeping, fresh flower, bonsai trees and ornamental plants from Vietnamese and foreign artisans and flower clubs; music performances, folk games for children, calligraphy exhibition, showcase on the city’s achievements, cuisine fair and 40 souvenir booths ..
The HCMC People's Committee also requested the Department of Transport to offer 1,000 bus tickets and entrance tickets for poor workers who do not return home on Tet holidays.
On the Lunar New Year, the HCMC People’s Committee will kick off Tet flower markets at September 23 Park, Gia Dinh Park and Le Van Tam Park respectively; and 125 Tet flower markets at pavements, schools and children cultural houses citiwide.
The Phu My Hung Development Corporation will organize the 2018 spring flower festival and Tet flower market in the Ban Nguyet (semicircular) Lake, District 7 from February 8-12, 2018.
