HCMC to create more convenient conditions for Japanese businesses

Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Hoang Quan confirmed to create more convenient conditions for Japanese businesses at a meeting with Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Hiroyuki Ishige on November 25.

Ho Chi Minh City has always regarded Japan as one of its key partners; therefore, the city’s authorities will create more favorable conditions for Japanese enterprises to have investment cooperative opportunities in the city, said chairman Le Hoang Quan.
 
Mr. Hiroyuki Ishige expressed his pleasure as Japanese enterprises choose Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular as their business market. At present, 70 percent of Japanese businesses is focusing on investment opportunities in Vietnam.

Vietnam joined in the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) which is a chance for developing supported industries.‎
 
JETRO pledged to support Japanese enterprises through providing information about investment environment in the city.
