The city is now reviewing and changing the area's plan, set up by investors formerly, to suit current changes.

In addition, the city has the policy of granting temporary licenses for residents to build houses in areas that have been planned for housing land but the plan has not been implemented.

Therefore, the municipal authorities will consider and adjust the plan boundary of Binh Quoi-Thanh Da area to create conditions for locals to develop themselves in accordance with plan.

Informing inspection results of Thu Thiem new urban area at the conference, Mr. Hoan said that the Central Government has been completing the conclusion of the comprehensive inspection over Thu Thiem new urban area. HCMC in its part has conducted many steps such as discussing policies with residents and improving compensation and supplementary assistance policies.
