Over 1,000 survey questionnaires were sent to the people by the Police Bureau in charge of administrative management of social order (coded PC 13) under the Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Police Department on June 28.
The survey focuses on the service attitude, paper procedures and problem solving steps of policemen.
Senior lieutenant-colonel Vo Van Nhuan, head of PC 13, said this is the first trial unit of the HCMC Police Department. With the support of the HCMC Post Office, the returned questionnaires and letters to the Bureau are not required to have stamp on.
Beside checking available questions on the questionnaires, HCMC Police would like the people to sincerely express their constructive ideas and have timely report on shortcomings of police administrative management.
They should cover policemen from the levels of the City, districts and wards; even those of local policemen in order for the police to be able to straighten out and overcome their shortcomings.
