HCMC & Ireland strengthens agricultural cooperation

At the meeting, chairman Nguyen Thanh Phong shared the city drections to develop high-tech agriculture in the upcoming time. 

Currently, the city focuses on developing the fields of mechanics, food and foodstuff processing, chemicals, plastic, rubber, electronics and information technology.

However, the city has still faced difficulties and challenges in processing industries. 

The city leader hoped that the visit would create opportunity to promote cooperation between both sides via sharing mutual experiences about green agricultural development, techniques of processing industries as well as ecological tourism development. 

The Ireland minister said Ireland is also ready to share technologies and methods to create fresh agricultural products and support sustainable development for the city’s agricultural sector.
