HCMC finishes preparations for opening Bui Vien walking street

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has delegated the Department of Tourism and the People’s Committee of District 1 to plan open Bui Vien walking street to public on July 15.

As planned , the pedestrian road will be active from 7:00 pm to 2:00 am every Saturday and Sunday. Visitors will have a chance to enjoy the spirit of street art and street art performances in the city.

According to Chairman of the People’s Committee of Pham Ngu Lao Ward in District 1, Le Tan Dat, the local authorities have almost completed preparations for the opening of the walking street, such as renovating and decorating the sidewalks, improving the electric power  and water supply systems, calling on local people to join hands for building images of civilized tourism, turning Bui Vien Street into an attractive destination in the city.

Parking lots are available  at SENSE MARKET, and the B and C areas in the 23/9 Park.
