At the meeting with Mr. Jaroslav Gasinec, Director of Global Development of the Asseco Group yesterday, Deputy Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen said the city has been in the process of surveying and building the overall model, striving to make HCMC a smart city in 2025.
So far, the city has focusing on setting up an e-goverment aiming to improve local residents' quality of life by efficently managing healthcare, environment and traffic systems through the application of he high technology.
The city encourages enterprises, local residents to take part in high tech activities to make HCMC a smart city as schedule.
Mr. Jaroslav Gasinec said the Asseco Group expects to cooperate with the city about the technology and investment fields, contributing making HCMC a smart city in 2025. The Asseco Group so far is operating in 70 countries worldwide hoping that HCMC will be first country in Asian region which the group will invest in , added Mr. Jaroslav.
