HCMC delegation burns incense to commemorate late President Ho Chi Minh

A delegation led by Le Thanh Hai, Politburo member, Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Secretary on May 19 visited the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Ho Chi Minh City to offer incense to President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of  the 125th birthday anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh.

A minute's silence was observed in memory of Vietnam’s great leader, late President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted all his life for the national liberation. President Ho Chi Minh is a shining model of revolutionary heroism and ethics.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the HCMC's Party Committee Vo Van Thuong, chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan, Deputy Secretaries of the HCMC's Party Committee  Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Nguyen Thanh Phong, two deputy chairmen of the city People’s Committee Tat Thanh Cang and  Hua Ngoc Thuan attended the event.

On the occasion, the museum in coordination with the State Records Management and Archives Department of Vietnam to open an exhibition themed “ President Ho Chi Minh with South Liberation and national reunification”. The exhibition will display over 200 documents and pictures featuring President Ho Chi Minh’s love to residents in the South.

On the same day, many people, organizations, students visited the museum and offered flowers to president Ho Chi Minh statue.
