HCMC Caring for Families of Martyrs and Wounded Soldiers

Under the command of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has just given guidance on the usage of expenditure for the organization of the 59th anniversary of the Martyrs and Veterans Day on July 27.

Accordingly, gifts worth total VND17 billion will be presented to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers and beneficiary families in the City.

Also on this occasion, the HCMC Eye Hospital will offer free eye tests to beneficiary families’ members from July 24-27, at 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm.

The hospital has done free phaco surgeries on 50 cases of cataract, who were Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, members of martyrs’ families, wounded soldiers and old communist officials.
