HCMC builds more bridge over Saigon River

The Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has decided to build one more bridge over Saigon River, reported the HCMC Transport Department yesterday.

The project of bridge Thu Thiem 3 will connect district 4 and district 2 in the city. 

According to the city planning approved by the Government the city will have total 21 bridges and underwater tunnels crossing Saigon River.

Thai Son Corporation and Vietnam Infrastructure Development and Real Estate Joint Stock Company are constructors of the project. 

Currently, 14 bridges and underwater tunnels were finished. In the upcoming time, the city will build seven more bridges.
