HCM City's Party Committee Secretary Le Thanh Hai led a delegation to visit and offer gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, Bui Thi Me, Nguyen Thi Viet and Nguyen Thi Binh on July 26.
Mr. Hai expressed deep gratitude to the heroic mothers for their great contribution and sacrifice towards the cause of national liberation and reconstruction. He wished them good health and a long life, and asked the local authorities to take care of the mothers and help improve their lives.
On the same day, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Thi Thu Ha paid a visit and offered gifts to Vietnamese heroic mothers, Ngo Thi Can and Thai Thi Ve.
She showed her deep gratitude to the women and honored their sacrifice for the national liberation and reunification.
The municipal and local authorities have taken practical actions to look after heroic mothers, Ha said.
