HCMC Party Chief Nguyen Thien Nhan congratulated the Cuban National Assembly that approved new constitutional draft in July, creating advantages for a stronger development.
He highly appreciated cooperation relation between HCM City and Cuba. Accordingly, bilateral trade of the two sides was up 40 percent in 2017. The total value of trade turnover reached US460 million.
Mr. Nhan hoped the two sides will see the further development in fields of trade, Investment, health and education.
On the same day, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong also received Cuban Ambassador to Vietnam , Lianys Torres Rivera.
