HCM City: Appointing creative people to management position

Ho Chi Minh City should focus on improving the effectiveness of using human resource and develop creativity to boost its growth, said Secretary of the HCM City Party Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan at a conference summarizing the Party building and organization tasks during the first six months and plans in the next six months in HCMC on August 1.

Appointing creative people having the ability to key posistion is also important thing, he added.

He affirmed that the Party building and organization tasks have made outstanding contribution to the stability and development of the city.

City Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan has aslo proposed the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission to choose HCM City as an experimental place for cutting down the workforce.

Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Pham Minh Chinh highlighted the Party building and organization tasks of HCM City and its achievements for the half year.

He affirmed that the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission plans to launch regulations to inspect the right of leaders against the “position buying”.

He asked the city’s government need to be strictly good at training, electing and appointing officials and employees for the new term.
