City's Hoc Mon District to build more playgrounds for kids

Authorities in Hoc Mon District of Ho Chi Minh City said they plan to invest nearly VND150 billion to construct more playgrounds for children, a sports and culture center and an amusement park in two communes.

Hoc Mon District authorities submitted their plans to representatives of the People’s Council of HCMC on Tuesday to implement the projects this year during “Year of the Child’.

The People’s Committee of Hoc Mon District said that presently the district has 235 playgrounds for children, which attract tens thousands of young children.

The District plans to build the playgrounds in the Xuan Thoi Thuong and Dong Thanh communes of the district.
