The welfare delegation of Ho Chi Minh City, comprising of doctors from Cho Ray and Odonto-Stomatology hospitals and philanthropists, has coordinated with provincial group of Gia Lai Province to run charity programs in poor communes in Duc Co and Chu Pah districts from December 26 to 29.
The delegation gave 800 gift packages to ethnic residents, and examined and gave free medicines to more than 1,000 poor residents in the communes of Duc Co and Chu Pah.
On this occasion, doctors from HCMC also collaborated with General Hospital of Gia Lai Province to examine and perform operation on nearly 30 needy patients who were suffering cleft lip and cleft palate in the province.
