City to build nine new bus stations

The Ho Chi Minh City Transport Department yesterday ratified nine new bus stations on Hanoi Highway, National Highway No. 1 and No. 13 heading to the East of the city.

The investment and construction will serve for welcoming and disembarking passengers as they travel in the city. In addition, it contributes to create favorable condition for people to easily travel as well as access the interprovincial public bus lines.
 
Particularly, there are six stations on the Hanoi Highway including Den (Black) bridge (heading from Saigon bridge to Thu Duc District), Quoc Huong street in district 2 opposite the first point, in front of Coopmart of District 9, opposite Coopmart of District 9, in front of the Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery of Martyrs in district 9, An Ninh (Security) University in Thu Duc district.
 
Two stations are located in front of Thu Duc Vegetable Oil Joint Stock Company and Linh Trung Industrial Park in Thu Duc district on National Highway No.1.
 
Besides that, there is a station in a big courtyard No. 882 of Thu Duc district on National Highway No. 13.
