Ho Chi Minh City Party deputy chief Nguyen Van Dua received a delegation of the Russian Communist Party led by Dmitri Novikov, Party Central Committee Secretary and Deputy of State Duma.
Boris Komeiky, Deputy Editor-in-chief of Pravda newspaper, accompanied the delegation.
Mr. Dua briefed his Russian guests about the city’s socio-economic development and its achievements in developing the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
He affirmed that the Communist Party and people of Viet Nam in general and the Party Committee and people of HCMC in particular always appreciate assistance and sentiment from the former USSR Communist Party and current Russian Communist Party to Viet Nam.
