Cambodia's Independence Day marked in city

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations celebrated the 55th anniversary of Cambodia’s Independence Day, November 9, yesterday.

The Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations celebrated the 55th anniversary of Cambodia’s Independence Day, November 9, yesterday.

“The traditional relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia has developed strongly and become increasingly unshakeable,” Truong Minh Nhut, chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Organization HCMC said.

He added, “Vietnam and HCMC will strive to further develop the relationship with Cambodia.”

The Cambodian Consul General in the city, Luon Kim Khuon, expressed his gratitude to Vietnam for helping his country during the struggle for independence and with its subsequent development.
