Bangladeshi naval ship starts friendship visit to HCM City

The visit aims to enhance cooperation, mutual understanding and trust of the Vietnamese and Bangladeshi armies and naval forces in particular.

The ship, with 23 officers and 116 sailors on board, is captained by Colonel Mirza Mohammad Mehedi Hassan.

During the visit, commanders of the ship are scheduled to pay courtesy visits to HCM City’s leaders and the High Command of Navy Region 2. The two sides will exchange experiences in some fields of mutual concern.

In addition, the ship’s crew members will participate in sport activities with officers and soldiers of the High Command of Navy Region 2, as well as join sight-seeing trips to HCM City’s historical relics and tourist attractions.
