Art Exhibition aims to support disadvantaged people in city

The Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front and Art Association and artist Truong Han Minh will organize a painting exhibition from October 2 to 12 at Art Museum -97 Pho Duc Chinh Street District 1, aiming to support the fund for the poor in the city.

At the same time, the organizers will also auction artist Truong Han Minh’s three watercolor paintings at Windsor Plaza, located in No.1 Su Van Hanh Street in District 5. Two finished paintings will have the starting price of VND70 million (US$ 3,303) and VND50 million (US$ 2,359) and the third one will be drawn at the auction.

For over 13 years, the fund has supported to build over 26,000 charitable houses and repair over 12,500 dilapidated houses; give more than 371,8000 scholarships and 9,000 bicycles to students from low-income families.
