The “Most favorite Vietnamese brand names in 2016" awards was organized this morning in Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper aiming to honor and award for 30 outstanding businesses in various fields such as tourism, services, trade, education and real estate.
Deputy Chairman of HCMC People's Committee Tran Vinh Tuyen, Mr. Dang Manh Trung, head standing of the central Propaganda & Education Committee in the South; Ms.Than Thi Thu, Head of the Department of Propadanga & Education of HCMC Party Committee ; Mr. Pham Thanh Kien, director of HCMC Department of Industry & Trade; Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu, Director of HCMC Department of Tourism; Mr. Vo Van Long, deputy director of HCMC Department of Information & Communications...attended the event.
Started in 2006, the program was aimed to introduce the most favorite Vietnamese brand names to international visitors and local people however, later on, the program has developed and been expanded to many various fields with aim at encouraging businesses to build up prestigious, high quality Vietnamese brand names and set up consumption culture among Vietnamese people.
This year, 30 businesses has been awarded in fields such as tourism, services, trade, education, industry and real estate.
The Sai Gon Giai Phong’s readers and consumers participated in the program to vote the best businesses for the award.
20 out of 30 brand names have been voted for three consecutive years by the readers therefore the organization board has decided to offer the Golden Awards to them.
On behalf of HCMC People's Committee, Deputy Chairman Tran Vinh Tuyen congratulated 30 most favorite Vietnamese brand names in 2016 adding that the year 2016 ended in its continuous efforts from three sides" the government-businesses and the city's people”. Deputy chairman highly appreciated the Sai Gon Giai Phong's efforts as the program has attracted attention from the public, proving that the program has been developing and achieved a great success.
Through the program, many favorite Vietnamese brand names will continue developing to be large scale groups in the country, integrating into the global economy, added the deputy chairman.
