The Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper on December 26 hosted a ceremony to award ‘Vietnam’s Most Favorite Brand Names 2015’ that were voted by newspaper readers, in New World Hotel in District 1 of Ho Chi Minh City.
Attending the ceremony were Deputy Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Van Khoa, and Deputy Director of Standing Agency in Ho Chi Minh City of the Central Department of Propaganda and Training Da Van Lung.
Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper editor-in-chief Nguyen Tan Phong said this is the 10th annual event aiming to boost the ‘Vietnamese give priority to consumptions of Vietnamese goods’ campaign and encourage Vietnamese businesses to build prestigious brand name.
The organization board interviewed around 1,000 readers and consumers in the city such as trade centers, supermarkets, markets, schools and airports to select 35 businesses for the award.
Of these 22 brand names who have been voted for five to ten consecutive years received ‘Golden Brand Name’ prizes, such as Saigontourist, Co.opmart, New World hotel, Vietnam Airlines, and Big C
