The Ministry of Health opened an online public service to grant medical equipments import permission.
the online service helps saving time for registering and fee for enteprise owners as well as guarantees transparency.
head of the Bureau for Medical Equipment and Construction under the Ministry of Health Nguyen Minh Tuan said that the service has simplified a lot of procedures of receiving and registering documents of enterprises. Importers can pay fee online also.
Every month, the bureau receives around 700 documents from import companies. A mass of work caused difficulties for the bureau.
the new service is hoped to help the bureau resolve work and it showed the transparency, one of the goals in the administrative reform which the Ministry of Health is carrying out as per the Prime Minister’s guideline.
From July 1 to September 30, the online service will work with medical equipment importers. From October 1, it will be connected with the gate of Customs Department to issue the permission of medical device import.
To apply for permission, enterprises should send documents to the web nhapkhautbyt.moh.gov.vn provided by Viettel Corporation. The information will be transferred to the Bureau. It helps saving 1/3 the amount of time compared to before.
