To ensure enough drug for treatment in Tet holiday (the Lunar New Year) and prevent illnesses in transaction time between winter and spring, the Drug Administration of Vietnam under the Ministry of Health asked medical clinics to prepare enough medications for treatment mission.

The administration ordered medical facilities to make reports of drug quantity for Tet festival’s treatment, adding that medicine shortage must on no condition be allowed.
The administration yesterday asked hospitals to check its stock and report what kind of medication without no drug replace could be short of.
The administration also assigned departments of health and relevant agencies to strengthen inspection to supervise pharmaceutical businesses on how these businesses carry out its trading, especially inspectors focusing on detecting low quality drugs.
Businesses and importers were assigned to increase supply of drug for treatment and prompt supply when receiving orders. They must not take advantaged to speculate and raise prices on the special occasion.
