Medicine authority removes Canadian medicines imported by VN Pharma

The Drug Administration of Vietnam October 7 decided to withdraw  registration certificates of seven medicines imported by VN Pharma, a pharmaceutical joint stock company in Vietnam.

Last month, VN Pharma’s chairman and general director who had allegedly smuggled and counterfeited bidding documents was arrested.

All seven kinds are intravenous medicines with registration numbers from  VN-17877-14 to VN-17883-14 manufactured by Canadian Helix Pharmaceutical Company and imported by VN Pharma.  The drugs’ registration numbers are removed because their information is not correct.

Along with this, the drug authority decided to stop receiving the document of registration of VN Pharma Company’s drug made by Helix Pharmaceuticals Ins Company.
