The family member rushed the infant to the hospital with critical injuries without pulse on July 14. She was bitten at head by the dog that was raised at home; consequently, she was heavily bleeding on the head and the face. Her mother also got injuries when she ran at the dog to rescue her baby.
Medical workers’ two-hour efforts to save her was unrewarded, she died due to heavy loss of blood.
Doctors warned parents not to let their kids play with pets and the animals must be muzzled and inject vaccine against rabies. When a man was attacked by animal, his wound must be washed with soap and disinfected and then taken to a nearby infirmary for further treatment.
