61 year old woman from the Mekong delta province of Ca Mau arrived hospitalized when she experienced pain in her right belly. The woman said she has suffered the pain for one year.

Looking her X-ray, doctors discovered that she had a complicated tumor in her kidney with big blood vessels in her belly. After thorough consultation, doctors decided to cut off the patient’s kidney to remove her tumor.

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Duc, head of the urinary tract ward, said that surgeons have removed a tumor weighing nearly one kilogram.

Following the operation, the woman’s health condition began to stabilize as her internal organs returned to their normal positions.
